Over the years I’ve been asked several times to write a blog post about media – it seems that many of my readers (who are also bloggers) need one, and don’t know where to start! It may surprise you that a little over a year ago I created my own professional media for the first time; until then I had only used one page in my blog that served the purpose. However, if you are approached by brands (or if you want to approach brands yourself), you need a media kit that can be shipped right away. Even if you’ve only been blogging for six months, you’re always welcome to ask.
In addition to working as a full-time event manager in an outdoor activity center, I spend my free time working on my skin care, makeup, hair, style and fashion – which I actually graduate from. A great passion of mine is eating, cooking, going out and healthy eating. Maybe I’ll share some of my favorite and proven recipes with you on my blog. I like to travel around the word, but also with my long-time partner in Crime AP, with whom I live in a small town outside Abbekurk, through the NB countryside and outdoors. We have our own home, complete with fluffy lion head rabbits and a lodger.
Thinking and acting
It may sound simple, but really good content requires thought. In this crap of information that we get fired upon, it is important that you communicate clearly what you want to convey. And it’s not that difficult, but it requires preparation and discipline.
